We can create a critical mass of women in all organisations, not only in London but throughout the country. A key to success is putting the:

Author of The XX Factor: How Working Women
are Creating a New Society
The up escalator is education. Education is the friend of the disadvantaged and excluded. Education is key to women’s success, especially in developed nations.
Part-time work and interrupted work patterns lie at the root of the gender pay gap. It is not just about discrimination.
Men and women put in the same average number of ‘work’ hours, counting external paid work and work around the house. Also, the more a woman earns relative to her male partner, the more the man shifts his hours towards home-based unpaid work. This means there is often more equality in child care and domestic duties among middle-income groups.

Sophie Walker
Leader, Women's Equality Party
Putting women's equality back on the political agenda forces other parties to question whether our vote is their right.
The notions that women will continue to wait, that we have enough equality, that we are almost there, or that real equality is an unrealistic aim have no place in the political agenda.
Collaboration and inclusivism is broader than gender. It includes understanding racism and sexism in the context of women, and it's about recognising women who are not always heard. It's about: equal education, equal parenting, equal representation in politics, equal pay, representation in the media, and an end to violence against women.
Funding for the Party has been a challenge, since the majority of donors are the poorest in society. Visit the Women’s Equality Party website to learn more and contribute.

Global Chair, Financial Industry Group, Reed Smith, and Steering Committee, 30% Club
It has been said that it could be 200 years before parity is achieved, if nothing is done. This dismal view can be changed. The 30% Club works with FTSE chairs and their boards to foster change.
The increasing number of women on boards has reduced the percentage of men on boards from 88% to 74%. More chairs climb on board as they see the direction of travel.
Women remain a minority within the executive layer, with 36% of companies still without women on their senior management teams. This needs to become a focus for change.
